Our roots date back to 1959 when Karl Landgrebe founded the company KLN in Niedenstein near Kassel, Germany.<\/strong><\/p>

From the beginning, KLN focused on supplying manufacturers of military vehicles as well as the Germen Armed Forces and its allies with reliable, durable, and cost-effective solutions. Over the years, the company evolved into a leading manufacturer and refurbishment provider for components and systems of military vehicles.<\/p>

As a complement to KLN’s activities, JOWA Fahrzeugteile Vertriebs GmbH was founded in 1986. Since then, JOWA and KLN have produced and overhauled a wide range of components and systems for leading land system platforms such as the Leopard 2 tank, the PzH 2000 self-propelled howitzer, and the M113 armored personnel carrier.<\/p>

In 2023, JOWA and KLN were acquired by Volkmar Noeske as part of a succession solution.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

We are certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2015 and familiar with manufacturing processes according to AQAP 2130\/2131.<\/strong><\/p>

Furthermore, we are proud to have obtained extensive special approvals for the production of defense-related assemblies, especially in the field of running gear components, for welding work in the areas of armored steel, steel, cast iron, and aluminum including DIN 2303 Q1, Q2 + Q3 and ISO 3834-2, as well as painting approvals.<\/p>
